Lubavitch of Iowa reaches Mexico!

Remember our good friend Steve Emerman? he is now living in Utah, he recently traveled to Mexico for his work. He met a guy on top of a Volcano mountain who told him his mother was Jewish. Steve put Tefillin on with him!!. Steve tells me the following: "This is why you need to have tefillin with you at all times". "I guess I was representing the Rebbe on that volcano".

Yahrtzeit of a special man

Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Schneerson was the Rabbi of a small town in russia named Yakatrineslav. he was arrested in 1939 by the KGB since he was comiting a "crime" of spreading Judaism, he was then exiled to Alma Ata, where he passed away at a young age. click here for more info. His Yahrtzeit took place on Monday, August 10
