Instant Bar Mitzvah
A young couple with their daughter were here in Des Moines visiting their son @ DMU, they were driving around town when they asked each other: "were should we go for lunch?" when suddenly "Roger" happened to be right next to them delivering some food to a customer with Rabbi Jacobson's van, they saw the deli's maganant on the van, they quickly jot down the address, they show up at the Deli have a good kosher lunch, then the son gets his instant Bar Mitzvah by donning Teffillin with Rabbi Jacoboson!

Passover in Des Moines
long time no post. We had a wonderfull Passover here in Des Moines. For the first Seder we had a Seder for the Elderly Jews at Valley West Apts. about 12 Jews attended. While at the JRC about 30 people attended. We had an inspiring Moshiach Feast. about 25 people attended. Each guest has a chance to give over a personal redemption experience. We drank the 4 cups (yes this is round 2) ate Matzah and sang inspiring songs. This year in Jerusalem!!!
